Dear Magnetic Resonance Community,

We invite applications of early carrier stage community members (post-docs, young investigators) to become a bureau member of the Groupement AMPERE, the European Magnetic Resonance Society.

The mission of AMPERE is to contribute to the progress of magnetic resonance by acting as an umbrella organization for numerous magnetic resonance activities in Europe, as for instance organized by EUROMAR or other AMPERE subdivisions. AMPERE maintains and expands services for the whole community and aims at accommodating new developments in areas which are progressively opened by the scientific evolution.

AMPERE seeks to engage the younger generation and its ideas in its organization, and aims at electing a young member to the Bureau formed by the executive officers (https://www.ampere-society.org/Organization.html). Membership will be for one year, renewable once.

The new Bureau member is expected to voice the views of the emerging next-generation community, and propose new activities, as for instance improving visibility of the Groupement in social networks.

Please send your application, including a CV and short motivation letter, by e-mail to Bernhard Blümich, President of the AMPERE Prize Committee (bluemich@itmc.rwth-aachen.de). We particularly encourage applications from groups underrepresented in the current Bureau.

We look much forward to receiving your applications before October 30, 2021.

For the AMPERE Bureau,
Anja Böckmann
AMPERE President
