Senior NMR technical position

A senior NMR technical position is available to operate the magnetic resonance facility at the Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra. The facility houses NMR spectrometers (400, 600, 700 and 800 MHz; cryoprobes at 600 and 800 MHz; fast MAS solid-state probes at 700 and 800 MHz) and pulsed EPR (X-band, Q-band, W-band) equipment. It is located in the Research School of Chemistry (RSC) and serves the entire university.

You will work directly with protein researchers, material scientists and synthetic chemists. Your responsibilities will include the operation and maintenance of the equipment, as well as the implementation of NMR methods and training of users in NMR. The position requires a Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, physics or closely related field. Excellent communication skills are required.
