Dear Colleagues,

With the support of the Italian NMR Discussion Group (GIDRM) we are organising the workshop: “Hyperpolarization Methods in Magnetic Resonance”, to be held online via Zoom on Friday 27th May 2022. Nuclear magnetic resonance methods are widely recognized as powerful analytical tools in chemical, physical and biomedical sciences. Hyperpolarization methods aim to overcome the inherent low sensitivity of magnetic resonance methods by generating a non-Boltzmann distribution of the nuclear spin energy levels. The enormous increase in sensitivity (up to 5 orders of magnitude) holds promise to power new discoveries in chemical, pharmaceutical and material sciences as well as in medicine. In this meeting, we bring together a set of leading experts in the field to discuss the latest exciting developments across a variety of hyperpolarisation methodologies including PHIP, SABRE, solid-state DNP, dissolution-DNP and more.
