Thorsten Maly

Dr. Thorsten Maly is co-founder of Bridge12 Technologies, Inc. and serves as the Director of Scientific Instruments. He has over a decade of experience in the field of Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR), solid-state NMR and Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP) spectroscopy. His expertise includes development and application of pulsed-EPR experiments to study electron transport proteins, instrumentation, application and theory of DNP as well as structural investigations of amyloid fibrils using solid-state NMR spectroscopy. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Associate at the Francis Bitter Magnet Laboratory at MIT in the Group of Prof. Robert Griffin. He completed his master degree and doctoral thesis in the group of Prof. Thomas Prisner at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University in Frankfurt, Germany.
